I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! I called for a reservation and asked that my son’s allergens be noted on the reservation. She said they deal with food allergies all the time. When we arrived, his allergens were on a colored piece of paper stapled to the server’s order pad. When I asked the server if I could talk to the manager about food options for my son, she brought out the executive chef, Larry Donahue. He told my son he could make any meal he wanted. He cooks for many food allergic customers so this was easy. (I honestly got tears in my eyes.) He personally cooked my son’s food AND served it to him. Later, he checked on us and asked how everything was. Throughout the entire time we were there, Mr.Donahue did his job with a big smile on his face. My son LOVED the hamburger, roasted potato wedges, and beautiful plate of fruit for dessert. We were treated with the utmost respect. Mr.Donahue gave us his business card and said to call the next time we were coming. He works at various Wildfire locations in the area and said he’d try to come to that location when we are there. We were so impressed that he took “ownership” of the situation and prepared everything himself so no cross-contamination would occur. The next day, we emailed corporate Wildfire to let them know what a wonderful dining experience we had. To top it all off, every item on the menu that we’ve had has been fantastic!! |
