I echo others experience with Delta. I called ahead to put a notation on our reservation but instead the rep indicated we needed a wheelchair.I complained to them indicating they didn’t follow their own guidelines under their customer service agreement(on their web site) and all they said was that travelers should call ahead of time and they will provide a peanut free buffer zone but are not in a position to not serve peanuts. My guess is they get them for next to nothing since they are HQd in Georgia peanut country

We flew jet blue buffalo to orlando & back at the end of june/early july 2010. we experienced both situations. on the flight there they only offered a buffer zone. on the way back they made an announcement, didn’t serve any nuts on the plane & asked all patrons to refrain from eating them. They even had blueberry craisins for my son to eat -the package says peanut free facility! However, when i booked my tickets, they didnt serve nuts on the plane & they never informed me of the policy change. i was disappointed. The counter staff in the orlando airport was rather disinterested when i tried to inform them of the allergy, several times.

We eat at Bugaboo regularly. In fact, it’s our go-to place for a safe night out. And it’s family friendly! My daughter loves the ribs! Not much to eat in the vegetable dept. so we always pack our own. Friendly staff too.

did you know that the national chain, The Melting Pot pot has a gluten free menu? and you can even get a coupon from restaurant.com

We went to a Red Robin in Warrenville, IL. They have a special allergy binder with menus for certain allergens. My son thoroughly enjoyed his meal! Our server was very helpful.

I agree with the allergy related info Angela gave. But I just didn’t think the food tasted that great.
